They Smell & Are NOT soft

I opened the zipped container today and the sheets had an odd odor, so I washed them. I'm writing this from bed on the sheets and they still have a not-as-prominent odor, but they are NOT soft and cannot be 1,000 thread count. Maybe someone doesn't know how to count. They are VERY disappointing, and not what I expect from Macy's. At all.

Wonderful Sheet Set

These sheets are beautiful, soft, and have an extra deep pocket on the fitted sheet. You can’t go wrong with this thread count! The only thing I don’t like, is there are only two pillowcases with this set.

1000 TC Sheets

Fabulous Quality!! I was quite surprised at the quality of this sheet set. I have had close to 1000 thread count prior but the thickness and quality surprised me. These will not disappoint. I tend to get hot at night and was worried as thick as these are I might get too hot but I didn’t. Love them!!

Stiff, thick and scratchy

Too stiff and heavy for me, even after washing several times. I liked the color and the depth.

Scratchy

I have a lot of trouble finding sheets to fit over my mattress and pad, but these fit perfectly. They are thick and heavy, which I like. The only issue is that they are kinda s scratchy. I've washed them once, but I hoping they will soften with continued washes

Worst sheets ever

I thought that these were best sheets ever until I dusted and had dark red fiber on dresser and red fiber in my clean air machine. After using sheets for 3 months they unraveled on the fold over crease and ordered new ones through customer service at no cost. Thinking the fiber in the air would clear up. I finally decided to replace with a different sheets. Just called Macys and told them I had the top sheet unraveling and two pillow cases unraveling and they told me they only guarantee sheets for 150 days. getting new sheets and throwing these away.
