Beautiful gift

I love the earrings, I would try on the earrings before leaving the store. The back piece that holds earring wasn't stable and so i would recommend getting the warranty.

The diamonds are black, but still sparkly!

I purchased these in the yellow gold. The studs are small, but I like them that way because it gives a delicate, pretty look rather than larger studs that stick out like Frankenstein bolts. Before I found these, I went to several jewelry stores to look at black diamond studs... but they just didn't sparkle very much, if at all. Therefore, my assumption was that black diamonds, in general, didn't really reflect the light very much because of their dark color. Then I went to a Macy's counter one day and saw these little things. They actually sparkled under the light. But I figured it was just different lighting or something and that was the reason. I held this Macy's webpage in my favorites folder and kept an eye on the price for a very long time. They were less expensive on line than they were in the store, but I still waited endlessly, hoping that there would be a decent enough sale. Finally there was, so I grabbed these. Well, to my delight, they still sparkle even under home lights. So pretty. I just love them!
