Not a great design decision

These have an elastic gore on top, near the laces. The problem is that when you walk, that thing stretches, making your heel feel like it's going to rise up out of the shoe. So I don't think it was a good idea. Also, the rubber heel doesn't absorb impact very well. You would think it would isolate the road better than a hard leather sole, but for some reason it doesn't. Other than that, these shoes do last, and are good value.

Hubby was happy!

My hubby is hard to fit in shoes. I bought the wider width for him. He says the shoes are comfortable for running through airports or walking around the city.

Not durable, smells bad

I bought this twice for my brother. The first time it lasted for less than 6 months and smelled very bad after one month. The second time I bought because thought it got wet that's why it smells, but ended up with exactly the same problem and it became very bad looking in less than 5 months. I used to hear that Clarks shoes are the best but could not see the quality of what I paid for. Not recommended

Lightweight and Comfortable

These are lightweight and comfortable. I bought them in brown too. Good everyday shoes if you walk a lot outside and don't want to ruin your good shoes. A little tight at first, but easily broken in.

Most comfortable shoe

My husband tried this one with about 5 other pairs/brands and he said these are the most comfortable ones. I asked him which brand and he was like "Clarks". I said of course, they are known for being the most comfortable shoe. This shoe is what we used on our wedding day Feb 13 2019. And he is going to use these for church moving forward!!

Great work shoe!

Fits great and is very comfortable. Not narrow at all. I bought this based off reviews and the sale price and it was definitely worth it. I’m actually going to buy another pair (over a year later) because they are on sale again.
