Didn't last long!

I had this coffee maker for 2 1/2 years, it quit brewing and the warmer plate quit working

Pleasantly surprised

I purchased this coffeemaker at Macy's 3 months ago. My Braun model died after 10 yrs and was no longer available. Disappointed, after reading reviews, I settled for the Cuisinart. How wrong I was! I am pleasantly surprised at how well this appliance works-- and I love the coffee it makes! The carafe does not dribble like my old Braun, the unit is sleek, compact, stylish, and very easy to use. It took a minute to figure out how the carafe lid snapped on, but that's okay, because it works. I recommend the black matte finish because it doesn't show fingerprints. What a great coffeemaker! You'll love it.

Great, Despite Some User-Unfriendly Features

We are pleased with this coffee maker, as it has some nice programmed features and the coffee tastes excellent. The reason why we rank it a 4 is that compared to other coffee makers we've owned, it's a little less user friendly. Specifically, - carafe's plastic lid is difficult to get off/on, which can be frustrating when in a hurry - does not have a gauge with # of cups poured in on the side--it is inside (really hard to tell how much water you've poured in it) - cone where the filter is inserted is hard to snap in/out and isn't able to stand up on its own when scooping the coffee in it

Great Coffee Maker!

I gave this coffee maker to my boyfriend as a birthday gift, and he absolutely loves it. He loves how it has a timer on it so that as soon as he wakes up he can have fresh brewed coffee ready to drink.

Coffee Maker

Best coffee maker we have purchased in twenty five years. Easy to use, easy to clean and looks great on the counter. The black matte finish looks clean all of the time. Would recommend to daily coffee drinkers.

Cuisinart 12 cup Coffeemaker

I've had 4 coffeemakers and this is the BEST!! Easy to use and to program! Delicious coffee and a lot of it. 12 cups is the perfect size. Carafe is a great shape, not the "bubble" glass that many have. Sleek styling too.
