I have been using the original Hotel towels for years and found them to be excellent. I ordered these online thinking they would be a nice upgrade. I laundered them as directed. I never use fabric softener or dryer sheets. They are unbelievably soft and plush. I was so excited when I took them out of the dryer. But once I used the first on, I was so disappointed and annoyed at the fact that they are NOT as absorbent as my old ones. I think they are so tightly woven that there aren’t enough air pocket to adequately absorb water for hair or body. I returned them to a store today.

I have the white towels and I’m on my fifth towel now that is falling apart. Really bummed out that this is happening. I’ve had to throw away several now and they are maybe two years old.

Pleaseantly surprised!
I tried this towel brand as a recommendation from a friend. We ironically had a conversation about towels because I was so annoyed with how much lint came off my last towel set and just figured, they were pretty pricey, that must just be how towels function when new. So without much expectation for anything different, I followed my friend's recommendation and to my surprise, my mind was blown. These towels literally have zero lint loss, none. I didn't think it would be possible. I just assumed for the more absorbent towels, they needed to be fluffy and lint on you afterwards was just what comes with the terrirory. I have full confidence in saying I am extremely pleased with the product as these towels have had no lint loss and somehow maintained really absorbent functional qualities. I'm just happy to finally make a purchase and actually get my money's worth. Thank you!

A guy could get used to pampering like this
I look at my life and see two distinct eras: pre- Turkish towels and post-TT. After pampering myself with these towels, I never want to go back to the dark pre-TT days. Towels like these are why I go to work each day and make money. What good is money if you can’t treat yourself? It seems kind of ridiculous, but these towels have really upgraded my life. I used to just shower and dry myself off with hand me down towels I’ve bummed from my folks or ex girlfriends bought and left. Now, my morning has a routine. A friggin routine!!! Every morning I look forward to the moment I step out of the shower and wrap myself in fluffy, absorbent Turkish cotton. Not only are they ridiculously soft, they have proven to be pretty robust. Unlike a few other reviewers have stated, there’s no lint loss beyond that of any towel. There really is no downside to these towels. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself some and never experience the dark days of pre-TT again!

LOVE these towels!
Love these towels, was given a set as a gift and was amazed how absorbent they were. So much so, that I bought another set in another color. Was pleasantly surprised these towels have no lint loss either. All in all a great quality towel.

Soft, luxurious towels, need special handling
These are wonderfully soft, luxurious towels at a reasonable price (with Macy's sales and coupons of course). I love them. Be aware, they require special handling. 1. You must wash them before first use or they shed little lint all over you. 2. You have to wash them in the gentle cycle and without anything that can pull or snag. If not, they snag and run easily. This happened during the first wash. You can return and exchange them if this happens. Otherwise, love them.
