Very nice material

Love it. Very slimming. Good weight to material but not too heavy or too long. I’m 5’7 and worn with flats and it didn’t drag ground.

A nice dress.

The neckline is too low for my tastes like every other dress I've purchased from Macy's. The armholes leave too much showing from the side. I'm looking elsewhere for a modest fitting dress in the future.

Flimsy, unflattering

I wanted to like this dress and thought I would after reading the reviews. In short, it made me look gigantic, very unflattering, blah. The material is very thin. The cut of the sleeves hits in an odd spot on my arms, and the empire waist accentuates my belly. Not for me, I am returning this one.

Beautiful Dress -- Read Review and Size down

I'm 5'9 and this dress hits me right at the ankle. I can wear it, but wish it s 3 inches shorter. It's beautiful, it's an empire waist so, it hits me right under the "girls" and that's the most fantastical place for a dress to hit you, when your tummy isn't flat, when you have curves and when you aren't a size 6...but more like a size 10-30....and beautiful! The fabric is fabulous, slinky, no worries to travel with it. It's not going to wrinkle. The fabric is just a tiny bit weighty, but not too heavy! Believe me, I've worn those, "jersey dresses" over the years. They are forgiving but heavy and seem to weigh 10 pounds and they're hot...to wear! Pleaseknow: I ordered this for a late April wedding 2019. I ordered a 1X and 2X in black and navy. The dress fits well enough, but at a size 14/16, I wish it were available in Missy sizes: S, M, L, XL, and XXL. If it were, I would likely order a Missy XL. I'll be keeping the 1X and taking it to have it shortened a bit.

Perfect for travel

These are being used as a team uniform. They are perfect for travel and pair well with many jackets. Thanks for making this an "in stock" item for the past few years. We just might need a couple more in the next year or so!
