Not What I Thought...

I'm African American with light skin. My legs & feet tend to be the palest parts of my body. I'm too self- conscious to show them off so they'll tan, so I keep them covered which creates a vicious cycle. I thought I'd try self-tanner as quick way to get my legs and feet closer to the rest of my body color, then I'd feel more confident wearing shorts & sandals. I chose this particular product because it says for "medium to dark tones". I thought that meant for people who are medium and dark skinned (as in actually brown), therefore would give a darker payoff (which is what I needed). I used two tan towels on each foot and leg (up to knee) and I observed only a very slight tan after an hour or so. Directions didn't give time line on how long tan should develop. BTW, towels dried out quickly which is why I stopped at knees. Not sure if these are meant for POC & they're too expensive to use multiple packets just to achieve a barely noticeable tan.

Color is okay not orange

The color is a little streaky but mostly good. The first time I tried this on my lower body half, one leg ended up being tanner than the other. The wipe must have ran out of liquid before finishing both legs. I think you need at least 3 wipes to do your whole body. Then you need a 4th wipe to even the glow the day after. This is a very expensive product then. Thank goodness I bought this pack and not the small pack. Let's just say I would have been very upset with the small pack. Would I return? No. It looks good. Would I repurchase? No. They need to make the wipes bigger or don't advertise as a half body per wipe pack. And that's my 3 cents. =)

Amazing!

Love this stuff. I've been using it for years and it works like a charm. Follow the directions, apply in a circular motion, and pay attention to ensuring total coverage and you will love the color. It provides a nice color that you can build on if you would like your tan to be darker.
