Good quality but a bit heavy

I bought this for myself and It is a very beautiful set. Love it. However, it is a bit heavy. If you like to want to have a lightweight dish, think again.

Very good quality and beautiful set!

We got this set and all the other dinnerware from Villeroy & Boch 5 years ago. We've been using it as an every day set, (with many kids using it); used it in the microwave and dishwasher all the time and it's still looking very nice. It has a few minor scratches from 5 years of constant use, but it's a very good product, and I highly recommend it, if you like to have pretty and practical dishes every day!

Beautiful!

Well made dishes that are so nice to look at. I love serving a meal with them as they are unique and different. Nice weight.

Nice but understand the limitations

This is a nice set but is not without its issues. Firstly we had to adjust the height of our upper dishwasher rack as the plates wouldn't fit otherwise - this means we can no longer fit wine glasses in the top. Secondly, the smaller side plates are almost as large as the large plates (our friends accidentally served dinner on the small plates because they got confused at our dinner party). Thirdly, one of the plates was chipped after just two uses. Fourthly, the larger plates don't rotate in our microwave (standard size). I still like the design but I wish I'd been aware of the limitations before ordering them.

Beautiful dishes

I purchased these dishes for daily use - they are great - very classy. I purchased the felt sheets to put in between so that I don't scratch them but I am not sure I really need them.

Villeroy & Boch Dinnerware

I love my set of Villeroy & Boch dinnerware. I just ordered some extra pieces in anticipation of upcoming Holidays and guests. However, I have one caveat, one of my plates got chipped on the bottom. My son was loading the dishwasher. Perhaps a "bull in the China closet" or be chip aware when loading and unloading dishware in to dishwasher?
